Through color, shape, texture, and symbolism, we can explore our inner world and open up space for emotional release and new insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This series of expressive art workshops bridges the worlds of art and psychology. It\u2019s designed to help you reflect and express your experiences through visual media. While it\u2019s not a substitute for formal art psychotherapy, the sessions offer a supportive and creative environment focused on personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Led by Tara Beata Racz \u2013 a trained psychologist and academic painter, certified in art therapy \u2013 the six workshops will be held at OAZA Joyful Kitchen (Radi\u0107eva 9, Zagreb). Tara will guide participants through techniques that spark fresh perspectives and help them connect with their inner world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no rules in art therapy. There\u2019s no \u201cright way\u201d to create \u2013 every piece is as unique as the person behind it. While it encourages personal exploration and emotional growth, it is not a replacement for professional psychotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workshop Descriptions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 27th Workshop: Safe Place<\/strong><br>We answer the question:&nbsp;<em>Where do I find safety and inner peace?<\/em><br>This workshop helps participants explore their safe space\u2014real or imagined\u2014through artistic expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 3rd Workshop: Collage of My Inner World<\/strong><br>We answer the question:&nbsp;<em>Who am I when I express myself through images?<\/em><br>Through the technique of collage, participants explore their identity, values, and inner patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 10th Workshop: At the Table with Those Who Are Important to Me<\/strong><br>We answer the question:&nbsp;<em>What do shared meals say about our relationships?<\/em><br>Shared meals symbolize connection and unity. This workshop explores relationships through an imagined dinner setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 17th Workshop: The Colors of My Decisions<\/strong><br>We answer the question:&nbsp;<em>How to visualize inner conflict?<\/em><br>We all face decisions. This workshop helps participants intuitively explore inner conflicts through colors and shapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 24th Workshop: Journey Through Time \u2013 My Life Map<\/strong><br>We answer the question:&nbsp;<em>How does my past shape my present and future?<\/em><br>Participants will create a &#8220;life map&#8221; using drawings, colors, symbols, and words to represent key moments in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 29th Workshop: Dialogue with Inner Voices<\/strong><br>We answer the question:&nbsp;<em>Who lives within me?<\/em><br>Participants explore the inner parts of their personalities through a visual dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the cycle, there will be a pop-up exhibition of the participants&#8217; works at the Miroslav Kraljevi\u0107 Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For any additional questions, please contact us at:&nbsp;<a>info@g-mk.hr<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1357\" height=\"2048\" src=\"https:\/\/g-mk.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tara-Beata-Racz-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8166\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tara Beata Racz<\/strong>&nbsp;was born in 1991 in Zagreb. In 2016, she graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy, and for her achievements and dedication during her studies, she was awarded two Dean\u2019s Awards for Excellence. In 2019, she graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, in the class of Professor Ksenija Tur\u010di\u0107. During her painting studies, she received four Rector\u2019s Awards. Tara Beata Racz is actively involved in the art scene and has had the opportunity to exhibit at numerous group exhibitions, including:&nbsp;<em>Femininology vs. Femina<\/em>, Cultural Center of North Macedonia (Zagreb, 2023),&nbsp;<em>Femininology vs. Femina<\/em>, National Gallery \u2013 Mala Stanica (Skopje, 2023), 5th and 6th Biennale of Painting at HDLU (Zagreb, 2019 and 2021),&nbsp;<em>Situacija<\/em>, Forum Gallery (Zagreb, 2020),&nbsp;<em>One are Here<\/em>, Art Gallery \u201cSlavko Kopa\u010d\u201d (Vinkovci, 2020),&nbsp;<em>World Literature Festival<\/em>, Study of the Modern Gallery \u201cJosip Ra\u010di\u0107\u201d (Zagreb, 2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Tara Beata Racz has held 10 solo exhibitions to date, including:&nbsp;<em>Eros and Psyche<\/em>&nbsp;at Gallery Kvart (Zagreb, 2023),&nbsp;<em>Hurry up, take your time<\/em>&nbsp;at Gallery Crta (Zagreb, 2023),&nbsp;<em>What condition my condition is<\/em>&nbsp;at Green and Blue Sesvete (Zagreb, 2022),&nbsp;<em>In the Undersea of Dreams<\/em>&nbsp;at Restaurant Dagmar Mengello (Palmi\u017eana, 2022),&nbsp;<em>Frogs<\/em>&nbsp;at Gallery Sv. Kr\u0161evana (\u0160ibenik, 2021),&nbsp;<em>Dance with Shadows<\/em>&nbsp;at Gallery Jozo Kljakovi\u0107 (Zagreb, 2021),&nbsp;<em>Hybrids<\/em>&nbsp;at Gallery \u0160ira (Zagreb, 2021),&nbsp;<em>Transanimalia<\/em>&nbsp;at Gallery Zlati Ajngel (Vara\u017edin, 2020),&nbsp;<em>Meeting Space<\/em>&nbsp;at Youth Center Bunker (Samobor, 2020), and her first solo exhibition&nbsp;<em>Psychonautics<\/em>&nbsp;at the Library of Marija Juri\u0107 Zagorka (Zagreb, 2018). At the 5th Biennale of Painting, she received the HPB Award for Young Artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, she completed training in Clinical Expressive Art Therapy. She has led numerous expressive art therapy workshops in collaboration with the Psychiatric Hospital Sv. Ivan (2014\u20132018), the Tre\u0161njevka Cultural Center (2020\u20132023), the Miroslav Kraljevi\u0107 Gallery (2021\u20132024), and the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (2019\u20132024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is one of the founders of the artistic organization&nbsp;<em>Nahero<\/em>&nbsp;and has participated as an exhibitor and workshop leader at festivals such as&nbsp;<em>We Are All Nahero<\/em>&nbsp;(Zagreb, 2023, 2024) and&nbsp;<em>Burafest<\/em>&nbsp;(Pag, 2023).
