Minna Henriksson was the first artist that participated at g-mk residency program. During the residency, Minna gave an artist talk in her studio, creating a hybrid private-public event which served also as one of the triger points in getting to know the Zagreb art scene.
She also presented her work at the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts, as well as the Split Art Academy and at Drugo More in Rijeka. In her two-month stay in Zagreb, she was primarily interested to explore the local art scene and was intensively meeting artists, curators and protagonists of a broader independent cultural scene of Zagreb, but also other parts of Croatia, becoming at least a temporary member of the scene herself. The research soon became the basis for developing her work that she presented at her solo show ‘Zagreb Notes’ in the gallery in November, 2006.
