Expressive Art Therapy

A free series of creative workshops for self-growth and personal expression

When words fall short or emotions feel too complex, art becomes a powerful tool for self-discovery. Through color, shape, texture, and symbolism, we can explore our inner world and open up space for emotional release and new insights.

This series of expressive art workshops bridges the worlds of art and psychology. It’s designed to help you reflect and express your experiences through visual media. While it’s not a substitute for formal art psychotherapy, the sessions offer a supportive and creative environment focused on personal development.

Led by Tara Beata Racz – a trained psychologist and academic painter, certified in art therapy – the six workshops will be held at OAZA Joyful Kitchen (Radićeva 9, Zagreb). Tara will guide participants through techniques that spark fresh perspectives and help them connect with their inner world.

There are no rules in art therapy. There’s no “right way” to create – every piece is as unique as the person behind it. Together, we’ll work on reducing stress, cultivating inner peace, and strengthening our relationships with ourselves and others.
