At the House for People and Art – Lauba, the biennial Exhibition of Croatian Design 23/24 is now open. Organized by the Croatian Designers’ Association, it is the largest showcase of contemporary design in Croatia. This year’s edition features an impressive 346 works, categorized into 9 professional and 9 student sections. The exhibition will remain open until January 22nd.
This year’s selection also includes posters created by Sara Pavleković Preis for the Miroslav Kraljević Gallery. These visuals exemplify her distinctive visual signature through a contemporary approach to design, emphasizing clear message communication and aesthetic freshness. The GMK program concept, which is based on connecting the art scene with other disciplines, has contributed to establishing the gallery’s new profile as an unconventional exhibition space. The design of the visuals for the gallery’s programs is fluid in nature, adapting to the annual thematic direction of research and the individual artistic approach of each artist, while subtly maintaining the core structure through typography.
The Exhibition of Croatian Design is the foremost professional showcase of Croatia’s design community, and this year’s edition also commemorates its 25th anniversary.
We invite you to visit Lauba and explore the finest examples of Croatian design. For more information, please visit the websites of the Croatian Designers’ Association and Lauba.
