Project initiated and curated by Anton Lederer and Margarethe Makovec. Artists proposed by: Ivana Bago / Antonia Majača, Matei Bejenaru, Yane Calovski, Nikolett Eröss, Alenka Gregorić, Michal Kolecek, Monika Szewczyk. Europe 20 years after the fall of the Wall. Some are speaking of the former communist countries or the former Eastern Bloc. Others have begun to speak of the former West and at the ongoing disintegration of the welfare state. In the eastern part of Europe real socialism was followed by turbo-capitalism virtually at the speed of light.The exhibition understands contemporary history as a fundamental element of contemporary art practice.
